An extra swimming session
After I finished work, I quickly packed my swimming stuff to go to the pool nearby for some training. In the last few weeks, I have been struggling with my foot positioning in the breaststroke during my swimming course. In theory, I know how it works. But in practice, there are some muscle patterns that interfere with my coordination and make my foot position almost a disaster. I need to practice more by myself, without the feeling of being observed, so I can figure it out.
At the beginning of my course, my goal was only to improve my front crawl technique. After a few sessions, I received exercises for the breaststroke in my training plan as well. I thought I would just skip those or do them half-heartedly.
After a few weeks, I knew my technique for the breaststroke, especially the kick, needed more practice, and that ignoring the exercises wouldn't improve the situation.
So, I decided to learn it properly once and for all.
Doing an extra session today was a good idea. I need more practice, and by putting in the necessary work, I know I'll be able to do it sooner or later.
